![]() Your scanned photos shold be in the “Pictures” folder on your Mac. After confirming all desired options are enabled and selecting Open again, your photos and videos should now be imported into your library! If desired, you can also select options such as “Delete items after importing” and “Create an event for each group of items” dring this step. When you have selected all desired files, click Open to begin importing them into your iPhoto library. ![]() This will bring up a dialog box where you can choose the location of the photos or videos you would like to import. Once your desired library is open, choose File > Import. If it isn&rsquor t, quit iPhoto, press and hold the Option key as you open iPhoto, select the library that you want to import your photos to, then click Choose Library. To import photos into iPhoto, first make sure that the library you&rsquor d like to import into is open. Finally, scan your images and they will be imported into the Image Capture app where you can save them as needed. After that, select your scanner from the list and follow any additional instructions that appear on-screen. If you don&rsquor t see it, follow the instructions to set up the scanner. ![]() Your scanner should appear in the Devices or Shared list. Once your scanner is connected and turned on, open the Image Capture app on your Mac. To import photos from a scanner to your Mac, you&rsquor ll need to first connect your scanner to your computer, then turn it on.
